Google Analytics

When you have a website of your company or a blog you would want to know if people even actually view your page. Google Analytics is a tool offered by Google that helps you track the viewers on your page. It gives detailed statistics like traffic sources, individual views and measures and sales. It is meant for the use of marketers rather than webmasters and technologists.

Google Analytics helps you track how visitors arrive on your page, how they use it and how you can make them return to your page. It gives you a very good idea on how successful your page is or could be.

Google Analytics is the most used statistics tool for websites. It is used by 55% of the 10,000 most popular websites. This tool gives you great insight on your website's viewership. Data that is insightful is always better than regular data.

What Is Your Talent?

What is art? Is it something that is beautiful, something meaningful or, just something that makes you feel good? Art is subjective. Maybe what I consider art is junk for you. For me nail decor is art, for some people it is not. However, the good thing about art is that you always can find someone who thinks that it is art. It could be just your mother.

If you are not an artist, that doesn't mean you don't have talent, everyone has at least one talent, some people show it and some just keep it secret. Every person is gifted with at least one talent.

Doing a class exercise, I was thinking about my talent and passion. Talent? Well, I'm not sure. I consider myself a talented person when painting in my small canvas like a nail, but what is necessary to judge if I have talent for it? Then I realized that to identify other people's talents is much easier than to identify my own.

Walking on the streets, we can see many kinds of art. Crafts, paintings, graffiti, music, dance are some examples. In my class, I also could identify so many artists in so many different areas that if we put everyone together it is possible to create an art exhibition. A passionate photographer who takes wonderful detailed pictures of her hometown and make everything looks so pretty at All Things Bangalore. A dancer who can't stop moving and makes everyone dance together at Dance Nation. a writer who found herself in a new city and wants to share her experience at Virei Canadense. A good friend who feels so proud of his best friend that want to show it to the world at Dancers knows no boundaries!!!. Finally, a Social Media expert are some of the good writers who discover their passion and now can develop their talent.

In conclusion, regardless of what your passion is, if it makes you happy, you will be good at it. It is only a matter of dedication.

Art for your nails

Nail art is something I enjoy doing in my spare time. It is amazing how creative one can be on such a small canvas as a nail. I have been doing this since almost two years now. In the beginning I used to try something new every weekend. But recently due to other activities this has become less frequent.

There are tools that can help in decorating your nails. There are brushes, dotting tools, rhinestones, sparkles, stickers, fake nails, sponge and even toothpicks. You could also use different techniques like the marble effect, gradient effect or simple painting.

The options and ideas are endless. There are several videos on YouTube that show step by step how to get some pretty nail art. Also, Pinterest is very helpful when you are at a loss for ideas.

Personally, I prefer something simple and not over the top; but to each her own.
